I’ve started to do some engraving on slate coasters. So far, using the IR part of my Xtool F1 Ultra I’m impressed with the ease and quality of the engravings. Took a little bit to get the settings where I wanted them to be but once that was done it was/is a piece of cake.
Lasereverything.net is holding a coin challenge every month featuring different themes. This month’s theme was “Pop 90’s” so I thought I’d give it a try. Here’s what I was able to engrave on a brass challenge coin.

The new Xtool F1 Ultra laser engraver is proving itself as I learn more and more about it. My latest engraving is on 100% brass challenge coins both front and back. I’ve also engraved stainless steel with some success but not as much as with the brass. Below I’ll post pictures of the brass engravings. Let me know please what you think of them.
